
I was craving that pie for hours! Finally, I came up with a compromise that made use of my one lonely fridge lemon. Maybe I didn’t need pie after all; I was just longing for a lemon-flavoured something? As soon as I started thinking of a tea/lemonade hybrid, my cravings did a full 360 toward this refreshing drink. I hope you find it just as satisfying.
Quick Chamomile Lemonade
You’ll need:
- 16 oz boiling water
- heaping tbsp chamomile flowers
- juice of one lemon
- 1 tbsp agave nectar
- 1 cup ice cubes
Steep chamomile in boiling water for approximately five minutes. Combine lemon juice and agave nectar in a large jar. Close lid and shake to combine.
Add ice to the lemon mixture and pour tea over top. Close lid and refrigerate for 30 minutes. Enjoy with some seasonal fruit!
